Op en top verfijning uit Toscane. Bioproducent Salcheto maakt een elegante stijl Vino Nobile met expressie van de prugnolo gentiledruif en fraai gedoseerde houtrijping.

De man achter het succes van deze rode wijn is Bourguignon en Languedoc-expert Laurent Delaunay. Naast de vakkundige wijnmaker van deze wijn is hij ook verantwoordelijk voor de druivenselectie. Het resultaat is zo goed dat de pauselijke naam Pontificis het etiket siert, met een knipoog naar de beroemde Châteauneuf-du-Pape.
